Kelham House Country Manor Hotel, Newark-on-Trent (Nottinghamshire)

The hotel offers a beautiful location with great views and a cozy atmosphere. The rooms, while overlooking parkland, were a bit uncomfortable and poorly furnished, but overall, security was not a major concern. The service was exceptional, especially for a vegetarian like me, with dedicated staff from booking to the late hours of our event. The location was fantastic for small weddings, providing a magical setting even in foggy weather. The dining experience was pleasant, though there were minor issues like the lack of toast with meals. The facilities were satisfactory, though improvements could be made.
